Set in 2500 square metres of private grounds, Villa Delfin has stunning mountain views akin to those in Tuscany. This country property has a tranquil setting within orange groves and enjoys impressive views of mountains and unusually green valleys. It is an ideal base from which to explore the real Spain.

Outside:

Around the villa the garden is fully fenced with wrought iron gates. The feature 10m x 5m illuminated pool is both private and well maintained, and has its own terrace with pool shower and sun loungers.

There is also a side terrace with barbecue and a veranda to the front of the property equipped with garden furniture that can be used as an outside dining room for alfresco eating with stunning views.

Villa Delfin is set in 0.67 acres of gardens and retained natural landscape, allowing peace, privacy and tranquillity.

Inside:

A spacious lounge/dining area with two large sofas, equipped with DVD / video / portable CD players (and a selection of films, cartoons, music CDs etc.) for your entertainment; dining table for 8.

A modern kitchen with all essential electrical items (including microwave, gas hob, electric oven, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer);

A large bathroom comprising a twin-basin vanity unit, full-size bath with shower over, WC and bidet;

One king-size bedroom, two rooms with double beds and one twin-bedded room. The optimum party size is thus 6 people but 8 can be readily accommodated if the sleeping arrangements are acceptable;

There is a washing machine and additional cloakroom / WC in the underbuild area.

Pla de Corrals is located just to the east of Xativa, about two-thirds of the way between Alicante and Valencia airports. Easyjet flights to Alicante have been reliable thus far, from about £50 return per person but can be cheaper if you book early enough and take the more unsociable hours flights. Lots of other carriers fly to Alicante, of course, from a number of UK regional airports. BA fly direct to Valencia from Gatwick - these flights are from about £80 return per person. Easyjet flights to Valencia from Stansted started November 2004, and from Gatwick starts March 2005.  The drive from Alicante airport is about 90  miles and takes 1hr 50 mins or so, mostly dual carriageways. Valencia airport is about half the distance at 45 miles and takes about an hour, again mostly motorway and dual carriageway.

Enjoy the culture and nightlife of Valencia and return to the tranquillity of the mountains. Spain's beautiful third city of Valencia should provide something of interest for everyone, from the pretty architecture to the historic sites, and from the marvellous shopping to the new and impressive City of Arts and Sciences which includes Europe's largest aquarium. About 45 minutes by road and rail. The local train station at Xativa has trains every 15minutes, cost about 4 euros return.

A beautiful drive over the mountains takes you to the beaches of Tavernes and Xeraco, about 25 to 35 minutes away by car. Gandia, a busy town with a magnificent beach and promenade, is also about 25 minutes drive.

The villa is 20 minutes drive from the sophisticated 12^th century town of Xativa. Take a stroll through the marble streets, spot the many historical sights. Stop at a patisserie, take the little train up to the castle, or you can walk up if you feel the need of the exercise! Xativa has good shopping and many good restaurants.

The local village of Barxeta is 10 minutes by car for everyday provisions. Take a phrase book!

The world famous Seve Ballesteros golf course situated near Denia is about 50 minutes drive.

Villa Delfin is great for walks. The local bar can be reached by a 15 minute walk through the orange groves. The mountain and valleys are yours to explore as you wish.

Wildlife is abundant. You may spot an eagle whilst sitting on the terrace. Wild boar come out at night in search of almonds. You may hear them outside the fence at night, whilst you are sitting watching a beautiful star lit sky!
